1win Partners Advertising Tools: Referral Link and Promo Code
The 1win Partners affiliate program utilizes two basic advertising tools: the referral link and the promo code. These tools allow the system to recognize that a player came from a specific partner, thus ensuring all earnings are correctly tracked and recorded.
In this article, we will detail what a referral link and promo code are, how they differ, and how to create them.
Referral Link
Referral link is a link upon registration through which a player is attached to the partner. It consists of the domain and the partner's hash — a unique code that allows the system to identify the source of the player.
Hash is the key element of the referral link. It is solely responsible for correctly attributing players. If it is removed or altered, the system will be unable to determine the source of the click, and the player will not be attached to the partner who brought them.
Creating a referral link
To create a referral link, open your affiliate program personal account. On the top panel, select the section "PR-Tools" → "Links".
On the page that appears, you will see a list of all your links and a "Create link" button. Clicking it will open a form with several fields. Let's look at each one.
Link name
We recommend naming the link so that the traffic source from which players come is immediately clear. This will simplify analysis and show which channels perform best.

Source
This allows you to group multiple links together and view their combined statistics. For example, you can create a "Facebook" source and attach all links from several Facebook campaigns to it, or a "YouTube" source to group links from different channels. This helps track not only the effectiveness of each link individually but also the overall performance of the source.
Tip: if you are currently using only one traffic source, you can safely choose a "Default source".
Country and domain type
The domain country is chosen based on the region from which you plan to attract players. After selection, several local domains will become available in the "Domain" field — these are more familiar to users from the selected region and inspire more trust. Players from other countries can still use the link and will be included in the statistics.
For Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey, the "Router" link type is available. When a user clicks a router link, the system automatically determines the user's geolocation and redirects them to the working domain in their region. Still, the partner's hash is maintained, all clicks are recorded correctly, which reduces the risk of traffic loss.
Direct
This is the choice of the page the player will land on after clicking your link. You can choose exactly where to direct the user: immediately to sports betting, the casino, poker, or a page with a specific game. Various landing pages are also available for selection.
If you are unsure what to choose, contact your personal manager — they will advise you on which landing pages will yield the best results in conjunction with your traffic sources.
Once all fields are filled, click the "Create" button.
"Action" menu
Every link you create has a set of quick actions available.
Postbacks
Opens the postback settings — the transmission of events (registration, deposits, etc.) to your tracker or CRM.
Link statistics
Navigates to the weekly report for the selected link.
Edit link
Allows you to change the link parameters: name, source, country/domain, and Direct. The hash remains unchanged.
Delete link
Completely removes the selected link from the list. New clicks on it will no longer be tracked. Players already attached to the partner will not be lost.
Link Publication
To make the link shorter and more convenient for publication, you can use the built-in shortener. To do this, click the "Shorten link" button in the link menu and select the "Copy" option in the pop-up menu.
There are also other methods of protection against blocking, such as using micro-landing pages. We discussed them in detail in a separate article.
When copying the link for your betting project, you can also add your bet code — Share Bet. We've explained more about this tool here. Simply add the code of the created bet slip to your referral link in the dedicated window — and the user will automatically be directed to your pre-filled bet slip.
APK file
APK is a file with your referral link already embedded. After installation, it opens on a smartphone like a regular application, but essentially directs the player to the 1win website. You can generate such a file by clicking the Android icon in the actions menu.
You can generate a maximum of 10 APK applications simultaneously and no more than 100 per day.
On some devices with Windows Defender, the APK file may be mistakenly identified as a virus. This is due to the specifics of the antivirus software and is not a threat; they are safe to use. The files are usually recognized as safe after a few hours.
What to do if a link is blocked?
It is a normal working situation for a public domain to be blocked. Everything in the 1win affiliate program is set up so you can replace the link in a couple of minutes and avoid losing valuable traffic.
Set up notifications
There are two reliable solutions to help you find out about blockages in a timely manner:
- Notifications in the personal account. Make sure that the option "I want to receive notifications about blockages" is enabled in the link section;
Telegram bot. This is the most reliable way not to miss an alert. Click the corresponding button in your personal account and follow the simple instructions to connect the bot. It will send you instant notifications via Telegram.
Promo Code
Promo code is a unique combination of symbols, which, when entered on the website, attaches the player to the partner. Just like a referral link, the promo code is an identifier that the system uses to determine the source of the player.
Note: a promo code takes priority over a referral link. If a player goes to the website using another partner's link but enters your promo code, the player will be attached to you.
Creating a promo code
You can create a promo code in the corresponding menu under the "PR-Tools" tab: "Promo codes" → "Create promo code".
Here, as in the link settings menu, a form with fields will open. But there are only two fields to fill in.
Name
Any combination of Latin letters and numbers can be used. The combination length must be at least four characters. The promo code can be entered in both uppercase and lowercase letters — the system will recognize it either way. If the promo code is already taken, the system will display an error message.
Source
Similar to links, the source allows you to group several promo codes together by source and view their overall statistics.
Action
Postbacks
Opens the postback settings — the transmission of events (registration, deposits, etc.) to your tracker or CRM.
Promo code statistics
Navigates to the weekly report for the selected promo code.
Copy
Copies the selected promo code to the clipboard.
Delete
Hides the selected promo code from the list. New registrations using it will not be tracked. Players already attributed to you via the promo code are retained.
